Prior to each session, you allowed
me the opportunity to vent to you about anything occurring in my present life so you knew what
we should focus on for our mindfulness practice. This truly helped me more than words can
express as it allowed me to focus on my emotions for that present moment and be able to move
past that in a positive way so I was left feeling less negative energy and with more positivity. I
remember one particular session we discussed an unfortunate incident I had with a previous
coworker, and it was really bothering me to the point where I was feeling angry and not wanting
to forgive her. You were able to conduct such a powerful mindfulness practice where I imagined
I was talking to her and forgave her for my own peace of mind, and as we did this practice
together I was able to release all this anger I felt and was ready to feel more at peace.
You also led another session where you allowed me the opportunity to imagine myself
successful a few years from now and I was able to think about things I would like
for myself and future practice. This gave me so much to think about and challenged me in a
positive way. It was also a nice distraction from my current daily stressors of school and work. I
appreciated this very much. You truly have a gift of allowing others to feel they can be
vulnerable with you and choosing the best mindfulness practice to help them for not only that
moment, but the future as well. There were times when we worked together I also felt you had great intuition about my needs, and that is also a wonderful gift you have to offer.
I would definitely recommend Joanna to anyone who is seeking peace and mindfulness practices tailored to their needs. She is very kind and challenges you in a positive way to get the most out of your sessions together.
